Territoires sous observation, un commissariat de Lili Michaud, comprend les œuvres des artistes Eruoma Awashish, Michel Boulanger, Renée Duval, Jessica Houston, Yoanis Menge, Normand Rajotte et Anne Ramsden. Mona Hakim, collaboratrice du projet, signe l’essai qui accompagne l’exposition.« Bien que leur champ d’observation possède de multiples visages, ces artistes répondent à l’état de vulnérabilité et de déséquilibre de la nature par autant de postures introspectives et contemplatives, de proximité avec leur sujet d’investigation, de regards critiques et de conscience sociale ou par des opérations de métamorphoses et d’étrangetés que procure le travail de l’art au contact des phénomènes naturels. »– Mona Hakim

Territories under Observation, curated by Lili Michaud, brings together the work of artists Eruoma Awashish, Michel Boulanger, Renée Duval, Jessica Houston, Yoanis Menge, Normand Rajotte, and Anne Ramsden. Contributor Mona Hakim has written the essay that accompanies the exhibition.“Despite clear differences between their individual aesthetic approaches, these artists react to nature’s state of vulnerability and imbalance from their own introspective and contemplative perspectives, establishing a close connection to their subjects of investigation, through critical thinking and social consciousness or through acts of morphing – something that happens when art comes into contact with natural phenomena.”– Mona Hakim
