My visual exploration has often unfolded between the two-dimensional and the three-dimensional, in both abstraction and figuration. I have approached pictoriality as an object to be constructed, through the layering of materials or by working on the background and form. My approach favors a direct relationship with the exhibition space: I design works in situ, in dialogue with the geography specific to each location. This relationship with the site leads to a constant renewal of the works presented and a scenographic reinterpretation adapted to each context. These particularities found an important foothold in my exhibition Espace, presented at the Musée de Baie-Saint-Paul in 2013-2014, as well as in Domicile, at the Occurrence gallery, from November 19, 2015, to January 16, 2016.
After these years devoted to installation, I refocused my practice on painting as my sole field of expression. This return happened slowly, in a temporality made up of fullness and emptiness, seeking to capture the moment when a painting reaches its point of equilibrium and becomes a finished work. My work revolves around the gesture—unique, sometimes raw—where fragments of landscapes, travel impressions, colors, and shapes intersect. Painting remains the preferred theme, with its gesturality, its immediacy, and its suggestive potential.

I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Concordia University and subsequently pursued training in fresco painting in Paris. As a recipient of scholarships from Quebec and Canada, I have exhibited my work both domestically and internationally. In addition to my artistic practice, I have served as curator at the Occurrence Gallery, where I was a member of the board of directors for many years. I have also designed, produced, and participated in several theatrical and film sets. My works are part of numerous private and public collections, including those of the Canada Art Bank, the Baie-Saint-Paul Arts Center, the National Museum of Fine Arts of Quebec, and the Lachine Museum.
